Josh Thomas is a blues-rock musician based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Josh hails from a small town in Johor & grew up on a steady diet of rock & roll, country and blues from his musical family. Taking to the keyboards at the tender age of 4 and picking up the guitar when he was 8, Josh established his love for music. His musical influences expanded in school, influenced by 90s and 00s rock namely the Black Keys and the White Stripes.

In his 20s, he played in several bands and crossed several genres, further expanding his musical vocabulary, performing at notable venues all over KL (Merdekarya/TheBee/RexKL) Penang (Soundmaker,Hin Depot) and Johor (Puteri Harbour), searching for a definitive sound and identity. He found the answer through his self-titled band, Josh Thomas, manifesting modern blues, rock and soul in a way that is current yet paying tribute to sounds of the 60s and 70s he grew up on. His calling is to keep the magic of raw & soulful guitar music alive in the airwaves and well into the future.
